Dubai Adds 24,000 Homes as Property Market Surges 36%

Dubai’s Property Market Shows Strong Growth in H1 2026

Dubai’s real estate market has started 2026 on a strong note, with more than 24,000 new property units added during the first six months of the year.

According to figures reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Dubai completed 104 real estate projects between January and June 2026. Together, these projects had a combined investment value of around Dh111 billion.

The number of completed units represents a 36% increase compared with the same period last year, highlighting the continued expansion of Dubai’s property sector.

Dh111 Billion Invested in Completed Projects

The scale of development has also increased significantly. The total value of completed projects in the first half of 2026 was approximately 52% higher than during the corresponding period last year.

This growth reflects the continued flow of capital into Dubai’s real estate market, with developers moving ahead with projects across both established communities and emerging areas.

The delivery of more than 24,000 units also means a substantial amount of new residential and other real estate stock has entered the market.

Strong Confidence in Dubai Real Estate

The latest figures point to continued confidence among developers, investors and buyers.

Sheikh Hamdan said the results reflect the strength and resilience of Dubai’s real estate sector, as well as growing confidence in the emirate’s investment and business environment.

Dubai continues to attract international investors and property buyers, supported by its expanding infrastructure, population growth and wider economic development.

What This Means for the Property Market

The 36% year-on-year rise in completed units is an important indicator of how quickly Dubai’s property supply is expanding.

For buyers, the increase could mean more options across different communities and property segments. For investors, the growing supply will make factors such as location, project quality, developer reputation and future demand increasingly important.

At the same time, the Dh111 billion value of completed projects shows that developers and investors continue to commit substantial capital to the emirate’s real estate sector.

Dubai Property Market Outlook

With 104 projects completed, more than 24,000 units delivered and Dh111 billion invested in just six months, Dubai’s real estate market has recorded a strong first half of 2026.

As more projects are completed in the coming months, the market will continue to be shaped by the balance between new supply, buyer demand and investor confidence.

The latest numbers suggest that Dubai’s property sector remains a key driver of the emirate’s economic growth and continues to attract significant interest from both local and international investors.
