Dubai’s real estate market has started 2026 on a strong note, with more than 24,000 new property units added during the first six months of the year. The latest figures highlight the continued expansion of Dubai’s property market and reinforce the emirate’s position as one of the world’s most active real estate destinations.
According to figures reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, 104 real estate projects were completed across Dubai during the first half of 2026. Together, these projects represented an estimated investment value of approximately Dh111 billion.
24,000+ New Property Units Added in H1 2026
The addition of more than 24,000 units between January and June marks a 36% increase compared with the same period last year.
The growth reflects the continued pace of construction and development across Dubai, where demand for residential, commercial and mixed-use properties remains strong.
For buyers and investors, the rising number of completed projects also means a wider range of properties entering the market, from apartments and villas to large-scale master-planned developments.
Dh111 Billion in Completed Real Estate Projects
A total of 104 real estate projects were completed during the first half of 2026, with a combined value of around Dh111 billion.
The value of completed projects represents an estimated 52% increase, highlighting the scale of investment flowing into Dubai’s real estate sector.
This level of development demonstrates the strength of investor confidence in Dubai and the emirate’s ability to attract both local and international capital.
What This Means for Dubai’s Property Market
The latest figures point to a real estate market that continues to evolve rapidly.
More completed projects can provide greater choice for property buyers while supporting demand across related sectors such as construction, retail, hospitality and property management. At the same time, continued development is helping Dubai expand its residential and commercial infrastructure as the city attracts new residents, businesses and investors.
For real estate investors, the growth in completed projects is another indicator worth watching. However, investment decisions should always consider factors such as location, property type, rental demand, developer reputation and long-term market conditions.
Dubai Real Estate Outlook for 2026
Commenting on the figures, Sheikh Hamdan said the completed projects highlight the continued growth of Dubai’s real estate sector.
With more than 24,000 units delivered in just six months and Dh111 billion worth of projects completed, Dubai’s property market is clearly maintaining strong momentum in 2026.
